Taste & Shop
Christmas is coming and the figs are getting ripe alongside the strawberries and heirloom tomatoes. Taste and lose your heart to these and other locally grown organic items, perfect additions to your festive table and they make ideal last-minute gifts.
Orchids for all are next on our itinerary.
And our final stop will be Crossroads for simple lunch and time to shop for Fair Trade chocolate, coffee and handicrafts, plus a variety of X-periences to remind us that Christmas is not all about conspicuous consumption.
This child-friendly day out offers plenty of space and activities for youngsters at the start of the school holidays.
The charge:
HK$200 per head includes round-trip coach transport from Pier 4, Central (with additional stop at University Station); free organic food tasting; lunch and the Blind or Aids X-Perience at Crossroads.
All are welcome. To avoid disappointment, sign up asap, e-mail:

Places are still available for a number of other excursions including
Guangdong Getaway (December 2-6).
And it’s not too early to sign up for the
January 20 visit to Shenzhen Lunar New Year Flower Fair, Shenzhen Wholesale Plant & Garden Accessory Market and Festive Sichuan Lunch.
