Could anyone tell me how to dispose the glass on Lamma Island? I'm keeping some bottles for months, still don't know what to do with them.
Which store in the village collecting empty bottles (eg. milk, beer..) for recycle? if any?

There is almost no glass recycling in HK.

The only company accepting bottles back I know of is Coca-cola. Shops will take these back and give you $1 each.

So no point in collecting any others.

You can also get $1 a piece for small milk bottles at 7-11.

Thanks for letting me know. I don't care about the $1, I just hope someone can take the glass for recycle.... I have dozens of beer bottles and I just don't want to put them with the trash.

Sure nowhere else to recycle the glass? how the resturants deal with the bottles? just break it and throw it away?

You could ask the bars. Maybe they do have some return method. But in any case, no need to break them.

About the only recycling I see is hardware shops filling bottles with turpentine and thinners, but they probably just use their own empties.
