Many months ago somebody parked a diesel generator in the old man's farm and since then he turns it on at 9:00-9:30 am on most mornings. The noise stops around lunch time, and it starts again in the early afternoon until 5:00 pm.

I am really fed up with the noise, it is amplified by the configuration of the valley, and the black diesel fumes i have to breathe.
I thought it was used temporarily by some builders, but that's obviously not the case, as it is now on all day.
The old farmer probably gets some money for allowing the generator to be on his land, but he is not the beneficiary of the electricity generated.

Has any body got any info about the owner of this loud and dirty machine?

Picture?
What's connected to it?

Are you sure it's a generator? For something long term, would be much cheaper to just runs some electric cable.
Is it perhaps a compressor?

I cannot take a picture because the noisy monster is hidden inside a white box, the size of a door.
The only thing protruding from the box is the exhaust pipe.

It's right next to where the old farmer keeps a pile of aluminium cans, on the left side of the path if you walk up to Tai Peng.
