Isn't it about time that the King Wong admitted the failure of their 'luxury' development in Tannery Bay- Laamarina.

Despite many years of procrastinating and waiting for the property market to recover before opening the place for lease, they still haven't leased a single property at their inflated prices.

It seems that the only effect has been some sort of anticipatory increase in rents and prices generally on Lamma, which will no doubt collapse back to their usual levels once the collective consciousness (and various agencies ramping prices) realise that there will not be a queue of super wealthy trying to move to Lamma;

Therefore I call on King Wong to surrender their idea of developing the South of Lamma in order that it doesn't turn into another useless, and vast, wasteland of empty concrete - see 'Sea Ranch' and 'Lammarina' (garden).

Also, the Quarry, now clearly intended for development as some form of housing, should be enough to satisfy the hunger of developers for the near future.

Other than that - leave Lamma alone!! Its value is far greater as a natural recreation resource for Hong Konger's than housing, luxury or otherwise.

Maybe they could turn it back into a tannery.
They could use the swimming pools to soak the hides.

At least it earned money then. A little smelly though.
