hi dear all nice forum here, i am moving to lamma island on Jan and looking around to buy furnitures, so far doing good. the only problem is transportation way of all goods to lamma ... the electric and furniture we are negotiating with the store and hope can be send within the same day, but not exactly know what time will be all arrival ..maybe some in AM or PM ... does anyone know there is any warehouse (near to the pier eg aberdeen) we can store for a day? we should rent a boat eg sum pan to deliver all goods (too many goods here, freezer, tv, shelf, cupboard, bed ) can one boat carry all of them in the same time? what should i do or any better suggestion? many thanks for your help have a nice day! |

The Nam Fung kaido from Kennedy Town 9603-4300 (Mr.Fan) It's big enough, takes pallets of goods to Lamma every day. |

Mr Fan is rather expensive. I'd rather use the Central ferry if possible. |

littleblom {L_WROTE}: Mr Fan is rather expensive. I'd rather use the Central ferry if possible. Talk to "Nick the bookman" (2982-0525), who sells paperbacks in Main Street. He can organise a team to move stuff from Central pier to Lamma using the ferry and VVs here if necessary. |
