Hi all, long time no see. I've been doing some researches on coffee beans. Does anyone know where to get decent coffee beans in Hong Kong, not just on lamma? I don't mean the supermarket pre-ground stuff that's been sitting on the shelf for many months. I mean freshly roasted good beans. Any idea? does the habitu sell it? Thanks. |

Yes! There are now several places in Sheung Wan that sell single origin, freshly roasted artisan coffee. Most of them are using a roaster in HK which is pretty decent, but my favourite is a coffee shop that imports them from melbourne. The cafes are located on the smaller side street off queen's road (jervois street). Greco-Olympian on Old Bailey Street is an old school shop which has roasted and sold for decades. I get their standard roast and it's fine for daily use. |
