I get small shocks from the casings of many (perhaps all with metal casings) electrical appliances in my house. I guess there is a house wiring problem - perhaps faulty grounding and Id like to find a good local electrician to check it our. Any recommendations?
Thanks :-)

Hi Tavis, guess you fixed it by now, but if not:

Had a similar problem years ago. Turned out to be a puddle (not poodle) in one of the fuse boxes outside. You can try and (after turning off your unit's power supply) check for any wet places near bundles of cables and in all power sockets. I think if the grounding was faulty then you wouldn't get 'small' shocks. Sounds more like a short-circuit caused by failed isolation.

If you can't find anything, better consult a proper electrician. You might see changes in your electricity bill as well. I think one of your neighbors, Leo, Chinese guy, probably knows someone local with proper equipment who can handle it.
