Guy MIller {L_WROTE}:
Like the one yesterday morning (sunday of all days) flying over YSW with the megaphone blaring out.
Was this one of Lammadonnas publicity stunts ?

So why didn't you take a photo?

Lamma-Gung {L_WROTE}:
So what was the megaphone announcing? Any Cantonese speaker who could let us know, please? Maybe it was the same message as on the banner when you just exit the ferry arriving in YSW:
"We successfully connvinced the Govt. to build a permanent helipad..."

Announcing this by heli would somehow be an adequate publicity stunt, no?

"Love our countryside, beware the fire and keep the area clean"

It is very common message from goverment during Autumn season.

For a tenth of the cost of that they could put 10 people on the ground to tell people in person and arrest idiots who actually start fires.

The shouting chopper was a Govt Flying Service SuperPuma and it was reminding people not to burn down the hillsides as they throw stuff all over Mum and Dad's grave...

Sounds like "Love our motherland, beware of democrats and keep your mind clean of religious ideas" to me... Ominous indeed...

If they're flying again today (Chung Yeung festival), could somebody take a picture for the home page? I can just see it now, I'll add a cartoon-style word ballon coming from the helicopter, shouting in big, bold letters "Love our countryside,... If not we'll start dropping water bombs on your heads!"
