Alan,
Tree house doesn't refer to "in a tree" in this case, but to "made from trees". As you can see it's mostly an all-natural wooden construction. Same as a "glass house" is "made from glass"...

Beanburglar,
Yes, I have to admit that it bears an uncanny resemblance to the Waterfront, but it's not actually at the front of the water, but in Ko Long Village, surrounded by trees. That's the best way to spot the difference and keep the two apart, for people who get easily confused...

So what might the official Lamma name of this tree house be? We have to name it, like most Lamma landmarks!!!

Maybe it's hanging from the tree & the concrete fixture is a counter-balance or a downstairs kitchen

I like the downstairs kitchen concept!
But as it has no windows and no obvious ventilation, I'd opt for downstairs DUNGEON, where he keeps the LAMMA MONSTER, a dark-hooded, evil creature with glowing eyes...

The underpass where the footpath starting just below the kindergarten going up to the reservoir goes under the Tai Peng cable road.

OK, this one was solved very quickly.
Who's posting the next picture for us to guess?

Anyone know where this is? Or more accurately, what mountain it is? And from where it's being painted? :?:

That's quite easy as well. The pic shows Mt. Stenhouse. Where I do not know - maybe close to Hung Shing Yeh beach?

Let's ask the artist, Roz Keep, who moved from Lamma to Chiang Mai in North Thailand last year. She called this painting "Yellow Stenhouse".

This painting is in the online art gallery I did for her at:
www.Compunicate.com/Lamma-zine/AG-Roz-Keep.htm

Posting Lamma paintings to guess where is a great idea! Any more?

Roz {L_WROTE}:
Yup the painting was done from a photo I took on the powerstation road. If you go up from the tennis court and walk until you get to the flat part at the top, there is a stand of eucalyptus paperbark trees on the left. You go in there and look back and you will see a clump of rocks there which are in the painting.

An easy one to revive this guessing game:
Where? Who could have been the model for the artist?

Good guess!
But doesn't his complexion look more bluish than greenish?
