tried a few different options - all were very tasty. Any chance of a few more vegetarian options? Not for me, you understand, but my wife has this strange culinary disability...

I'm starting to visit Dan at Anastasia's more and more often, when I don't want to go out for dinner or cook at home.
$40 for two persons is a pretty attractive price, including steamed rice!

All choices I've had so far were very tasty, great spices, but not too spicy.
You can eat there at a single table, if you like.

It's also a good place to socialize, chat & catch the latest news, as Dan's a helpful, friendly guy. I've met somebody new almost every time I went there...

Hot soups!

Minestrone, Goulash soup, cream soups and other winter warmers would be most appreciated!

Optional and at extra price, of course.

What about small, cheap desserts?
Mixed fruits, jelly, pudding, simple stuff like that?

Dessert is a good idea. Can you beat Deli-Lamma's Tiramisu? They make the best Tiramisu on Lamma.

I'm sure Dan can beat Deli Lamma's Tiramisu!

But does the Deli Lamma let you beat, not eat, their Tiramisu?

But it won't look nice or appetising after Dan's beaten their Tiramisu, beaten it all mushy and flat, making a mess of it... hohohoho

nay! nay! nay!

i can only say that deli lamma NOW has the best tiramusu on lamma. but at one time when "Selling Point" a shop next to Yan-yan store in Tai-yuen was selling home baked cakes, they have the BEST tiramisu there. trust me, i am a HUGE tiramisu lover. too bad, due to shortage of shop space, they gave up their cake-baking business. i still haven't given up persuading the shop owner alice to re-open her bakery.

Lamma-Gung {L_WROTE}:
Selling Point is selling only ecological, "fair-practice" coffee beans these days and you can sit outside sipping a nice cuppa, watching the weekend tourists hordes huffing and puffing by uphill...

Just a correction of one of my many mistakes by our ever-watchful e:

e {L_WROTE}:
ah-gung, the fair-trade coffee is not sold at selling point but at a shop very near to selling point, called "That Summer, The Quiet Sea" (what a weird yet sort-of poetic name!)

Here's a little promotion for this coffee. Most Lamma-ites are eager to hear about great coffee!

stephanie {L_WROTE}:
Dear Friends,

I have just tried the instant Fair Trade Coffee of Oxfam. It taste pretty good and worth to consumme.

Price: HK$15 per bag (10 small packs inside).
Coffee bean is also availble.

You can visit Oxfam's web-site : http://www.oxfam.org.hk for purchasing in town.
Delivery is possible if your purchase is over 30 bags.
Also you can call Miss Wan Tel: 3120 5222 for more detail.

Go ahead to taste this coffee and if you like it, introduce it to your families, friends and companies.

On Lamma you can find it at the shop 「那年夏天,寧靜的海 」'That Summer, The Quiet Sea'. Hope you will enjoy it.

Anybody tasted it?

Now, if only Dan would sell coffee as well in Anastasia's...

looking forward to having a chance to grab a quick breakie sandwich or other nibble to have along the way to the island...
offer fresh fruit cut up and this will be a winner...
hot tea would be ideal....
muffins and fresh fruit at other shoppes are good as well...
but something fast and hot.

OK, I've finally shot the photos of Anastasia's logo and exterior (incl. Dan) this evening.
Posted already at the beginning of this topic.

I've also tried the Cumberland Sausage Casserole today (Wed) and it was particulalrly delicious!
With this great quality & taste and low prices, I'm becoming a regular!

Just heard that Tiramisu in the Bistro will be discontinued...
Who else is still offering this in YSW?
The Deli Lamma's is really tough to beat...

But why wasn't I chosen to be a Guinea pig?

Wow, a few places are actually LISTENING to what we're saying here on My Lamma, especially reacting to our complaints:
The Bistro painting its doors, Spicy Island putting up a screen to separate the bar... That's amazing and wonderful!

More ideas, Dan?

Just one most popular demand for the chillier season:

SOUPS!
