I slept through most of 1994, in a small dark cave at the back of Tai Peng, although I did get up in August when I got a nasty mozzie bite on my inner thigh.

No, you are getting confused with that German bloke with bad hair who used to drink in the Corner Bar and source towel racks from Zhuhai for the Bavarian summer market. He left in 92, came back in 94 and left again in 96. Had a dog called Franz. Last I heard he was living in Sebu and had six kids.

Do you have something you need to get of your chest? Sounds like it.

PS. Why don't you reveal yourself? (if I can say that)

Well spotted Meldrew, so they first came in '92 and have been growing in numbers ever since.

Can someone do that nostalgia joke again please? It's fantastic. And any joke that goes "I used to be... but now I'm ..."

Oh, the memories.
