Sorry for the service interruption of this forum for almost two full days, including the Lamma-zine and all associated pages since Chin. New Year's Eve, the worst possible timing. Quite a bit similar to when the Santy computer worm hit us on Christmas Eve a few years back. Not a fun way to spend my holidays sorting out hosting problems...

There was a hosting problem with the specific web host for these forums, affecting the entire site, even though the Lamma-zine pages are webhosted separately and technically remained online, but inaccessible via offline Lamma.com.hk. Because of the CNY holidays, it took quite a while to resolve the problem locally. The site went back up less than one hour ago.

I've taken some quick measures to avoid this specific problem from happening again in the future, I hope. More measures will be taken soon, maybe even moving to another host, to make the webhosting more reliable and faster in general as soon as we'll upgrade our forum software to the latest version in the next few months, a major undertaking...

Many thanks for all the friendly emails and concerned phone calls from people wondering what happened to the site.

Kung Hei Fat Choi to everybody!
May this downtime not be a bad omen for the Year of the Ox and let's hope and wish for the future well-being of this website, as well as yours and your loved ones!
