All laws are been made in Beijing to protect the environment, but polluters are getting away,if in this case it will effect the Baroque,I am sure they find a way to stop the polluters.....
Ha, ha, ha, ha, aha,......... you're hilarious.
Take the new plant of Pharma Giant Bayer.
The Beijing Government rejected the Plan by not giving building permission
because it's waist is too dirty.
immediately the foreign secretary Westerwelle came to Beijing and criticized Gay rights in China and
Chancellor Merkel threatened more critic on Human Rights in China should the Plant not go ahead.
That the UN is criticizing Germany on Human Rights issues doe's not matter, the resentments Westerners have
regarding China leaves them yearning to any Brainwash concerning China and after they are more as happy to repeat that nonsense endlesly.
China in my view is the best run Country on earth,Honk Kong should be proud of being part of China.
And NO I am not payed by Beijing,I am a Consrvativ Voter in Chelsea and in Germany

re;the currant pollution,I swam on Sunday into it and nearly panicked, therefore it would not be advisable for children to swim, and not many people as usually did swim on Sunday
Alan {L_WROTE}:
I swam Sunday and Tuesday.
Sunday was fine, but gloppy. Yesterday most of the algae had cleared, but there were a few "stingers", which I believe are jellyfish (you can't see them, but you feel them all right).
The Pollution is the problem and not the Algae who forms around the Pollution and eats it up.
Perhaps it was a Tanker cleaning its tanks, that should be reported to the Authorities

I think the primary problem is the overfishing which has decapitated the food chain. Nothing swimming larger than a thumb can survive the nets here.

http://www.worldwatch.org/node/4708“Some scientists predict that if current trends continue, the oceans will be reduced to a trawler-scraped wasteland inhabited primarily by sea slime and jellyfish,” Halweil notes. “The fishing industry and fisheries regulators have spent decades trying to prevent this grim outcome, but they have largely failed
.
The Fish in Qingdao is a World-beater,its the best, all this Fishing Trawlers have to do is go a bit further out into the Ocean.
But they prefer the easy way. I agree overfishing is a Problem and therefore take a look at the Mainland Chinese Fish and Shrimp farms and learn from them how to grow decent Fish and Shrimps.
