Before the Opium War China was the richest Country on Earth, with a GDP of nearly equivalent of the rest of the World.
Sorry for you if you don't know that!

Nonsense! You should stop smoking that stuff ...

Perhaps you should inform yourself better!

Here in this link you see clearly how right I was in the first place!

1820 and shortly before the first Opium war the GDP of China was almost as

big as that of the entire World combined

Thanks to Mao Zedong, now after nearly 200 Years China is back to its place in the World !!!!

Alan {L_WROTE}:

As for Chairman Mao, you're a loony. He was a tyrant that killed over 35 million of his own people rather than admit he'd made a mistake in his wacky economic theories. Only after he was dead and buried could China's economy and society recover and start growing when they abandoned his Little Red Book, replacing it with Deng Xiaoping's "It is glorious to be rich".

The Statistics are out since February 2011 for the years 1961-1971

and there is not the smallest indication that someone died out of the normal!

This statistics exist since 164 AD and are published every 10 years.Already Voltaire on the Eve of the French Revolution and Leibnitz praised them and the Indigenous Rights, the Confucian Emperor and his independently tested and nominated Officials as real democratic. The rest of the World did not have such democratic institutions. The European Christians who destroyed all this are the culprits and a LOONY who dears to think otherwise.

Chinas statistical death records are far better than those of any other developing Country and on the Level of West Germany.

East Germany was better and India a lot wors. But India is a democratic Country, that's what real LOONIES have on there mind!

As of the RED Book, its full of chinese Proverbs in MANDARIN,the ENGLISH version makes no sense!

There is a new translation out since two years but also senseless.

Mao Zedong was permanently talking in Proverbs and needed Tzou Enlai as Translator of his economic view & books, they give an excellent reading , are full of Chinese History and can be purchased at Beijing Press. One of his Theories would give good reading to Anglo-Saxon Bankers who brought us the SubPrime and the currant Financial Crisis. In essence he is saying;"don't spend more as you have earned"!

Yes well what about the Great Leap Forward and The Cultural Revolution.

People starved and were murdered as any history book will tell you.

Central planning tends to suffer in a totalitarian regime due to false reporting of production, this is because people don't want to get shot.

The unfortunate consequence of this in the Great Leap Forward, where Mao insisted on imposing ridiculous production targets in agriculture, was that no one noticed several million people starving to death, Oops.

Never mind, perhaps now we have the internet it may be possible to run a centrally planned economy successfully, but I'd rather leave it to the Chinese to find out.

Idiot. Mao was a leading killer of the 20th century - second only to Hitler. This fact is well documented by Chinese historians as well as Western ones. For a potted history of the murderer check this out:

In Chinese and Korean there is only one Korea.

What is your view of the first attempt to conquer Korea by the USA?

Was it not 1864/5 and as they got defeated they conquered the Philippines murdering half the population there instead

RIGHT!

Why don't you not send your filthy brainwash link to David Cameron,Obama or Merkel.

As I write they are talking in Berlin at this hour about of how to get more Money with Mao's Picture on out of China.

And again the Idiot is you!

Read what came out of the Australian Embassy by an attache later professor in Sidney and it blows your mind.

USA wanted to have India attacking China, but Mao occupied the borders and roads in Tibet to India and the US yearlong build up had to be dispersed, so therefore the USA created the war in Vietnam......

Hope you can calculate and do your sums of how many people get killed in one Indian City alone

Marc Antony {L_WROTE}:
Mao was a leading killer of the 20th century - second only to Hitler

The Times, the British newspaper, used the RTI to get a break-up of Mumbai fatalities. In 2008, 3,443 out of 4,357 fatalities occurred when trains mowed down people crossing the tracks. As many as 853 fell off or were thrown off moving trains. Another 41 were hit by trackside poles while hanging out of doors, and 21 were electrocuted by overhead wires while travelling on the roof.

I think ewald is just trying to wind everybody up. Nobody could really hold those loony views with the amount and quality of information available today. If we ignore him maybe he will go away.
